Principal's Message

Welcome to another school year at Horizon Middle School!

Whether your family is returning or joining us for the first time, we're excited to have you as part of our school community.

At Horizon, we believe every student should feel like they belong. We work hard to create a place where students feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. Our goal is for every student to know that they matter and that there are adults here who care about them and want to see them succeed.

Middle school is a time of tremendous growth. Students are learning new skills, building independence, exploring interests, and figuring out who they are. Along the way, there will be challenges, successes, and plenty of opportunities to learn. Our staff is committed to helping students navigate all of it with confidence and support. We know that students do their best learning when they feel safe, connected, and valued. That's why building positive relationships is one of our top priorities. We want every student to have trusted adults they can turn to for guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the year.

We also know that strong partnerships between home and school make a difference. Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. We look forward to working alongside you to help make this a successful and memorable year. We're excited for the year ahead and can't wait to see all the learning, growth, and accomplishments that will take place at Horizon.
